Default Re: Easy Populate v 1-2-5-7

When I create new products and then upload them using Easy Populate CSV, they are all populating with a "Date Available" of 12-31-1969. There is no such field in the CSV and I do not make any alterations to the layout of the CSV or add a "Date Available".
I'd switch off this version of EZ Pop most folks have problems. Plenty of other versions available in downloads area.

I am running zen 1.38 have installed easy populate 139 gp. When I upload my csv file I get this warning and it does not update the database any ideas
Check the other thread http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...34970&page=310 for possible solutions.

I originally used the variants of that file and every one seems to be buggy.

I use 1.3.9gp meta and have for year or two. Just as an FYI I found v "c" to have an upload bug which is quite annoying not sure if it's my fault or not but it is fixed in version "e" which should show up there for everyones enjoyment in next 24-48.

Most likely a permissions error on tempEP or EPtemp I forget offhand but sounds like it will not allow it to get written to your server

Putting it at the top of what and in what format?

I am struggling with the same problem. I am wondering if my file is too large. It is a smidge over 8 megs and about 46100 rows.

    Suggestions?

easypopulate.php in the admin folder - just after php tags - my version works fine 14000 rows. Yours is a large file so you might need to increase it more

    - you may also have a 8meg upload limit in your httpconfig file on the server - these lines attempt to increase it.

If you have problems you may need to speak to your website hosting company...

you can see you max upload size if you click on version link in admin (same as php info)

Thank you. You helped me with information of which I was unaware. Sadly, I have installed the lines of code and as a redundant measure, created a smaller file with only 5000 rows at 5 megs. Still not working.

    Here is the error given:
    File uploaded.
    Temporary filename:
    User filename: TCCatalog_1_5000.csv
    Size: 0
    ERROR: file doesn't exist.

    Just so that everyone knows.
Make sure that ALL headers are there whether you use them or not or the file may fail.I added three new headers and deleted unnecessary ones after them. Don't do that! Add new to the database and easy populate but do not remove headers!

    My problem is solved.
    How I fixed:
Click: Download Complete .csv file to edit (Attributes Not Included)
    in the easy populate screen.
Open the file and paste the fresh headers into your upload file. Make sure your products line up with the right header and upload.

I'm using a Mac and this version of easypopulate. What am I supposed to uncomment in configuration variables? I've looked for this answer everywhere but no response to any of the previous questions. Because I haven't done this, is that why the page won't load under /easypopulate.php?langer=install and doesn't show up under Admin -> Tools?

Thank you in advance for a response!
