It's difficult to determine what host is a good host, even going by reviews. Price alone isn't reliable as they may still try to cram as many customers on as possible plus give mediocre support.

For over a year now, we have decided to ONLY USE HOSTS THAT UNDERSTAND ECOMMERCE, and who have a good knowledge of zencart.
In the UK, we ONLY use a Norwich-based host, whose owner is one of the original developers of OsCommerce, and who knows ZC inside-out.
In the Americas we ONLY use a Pennsylvania-based host, whose knowledge of ZC is extensive.
Both are REGULAR contributors to this forum.
Their hosting fees and charges are only MARGINALLY higher than the "popular" hosts, but their service and backup - and knowledge of ZC - is incalcuably more valuable.

Until recently, they were excellent. They literally bent over backwards for me making server changes I needed for my eCommerce sites. Something changed. My hunch is that they got swallowed up by somebody. Oh well, it isn't like this is the first time I've been through this over the years.Just looked at justhost. Is that serious: $3.75 a month (promo) and can run an ecommerce store?
Very true. Most of the reviews out there are phoney as a three dollar bill and posted by affiliates. Interesting thing is that the host I'm now switching to, (who costs a little more), has few reviews. All of theirs seem legit, though. It's difficult to determine what host is a good host, even going by reviews.
