EZ-Pages Settings
Description
- General information about your store.
Options
Store Name
- The name of your store. Displayed on applicable store pages and emails.
- Default: Set during installation.
Store Owner
- The store owner's name. This value will be in the from field of any email that is sent from the site, such as the one that is sent to the customer after purchasing. Displayed on applicable store pages and emails.
- Default: Set during installation.
Country
- The country from which the store is based.
- Default: Set during installation.
Zone
- The zone from which the store is based. Tax and shipping calculations are based on this value. Displayed on applicable store pages and emails. Value may be used for shipping criteria (see Admin - Modules - Shipping).
- Default: Set during installation.
Expected Sort Order
- The sort order used in the Expected Products center box. Can be set to either asc (ascending) or desc (descending).
- Default: desc
Expected Sort Field
- The column the Expected Products center box is sorted by. Can be set to either products_name or date_expected.
- Default: date_expected
Switch To Default Language Currency
- Automatically switch to the language's currency when it is switched. Can be set to true or false.
- Default: false
Language Selector
- Should the default language be based on the store preferences, or the customer's browser settings? Can be set to Default or Browser.
- Default: Default
Display Cart After Adding Product
- If set to true the customer will be taken to the Shopping Cart page immediately after adding a product to their cart. If set to false the customer will stay on the same page that they are adding the product to the cart from and only the Shopping Cart box will change. Can be set to true or false.
- Default: true
Default Search Operator
- Default method of the store search. Can be set to either and or or.

Store Address and Phone
- This is the store name, address and phone number used on printable documents and displayed online (used by the Money Order payment module, as an example, to direct the customer as to where to send their payment).
- Default: Set during installation.
Show Category Counts
- Show the number or products in each category and child subcategories beside the category name in the Categories box. Can be set to true or false. See also Category name/counter separator.
- Default: true
Tax Decimal Places
- Pad the tax amount this amount of decimal places. For example, if the amount of tax was $3 and tax decimal places was set to 2, it would display as $3.00.
- Default: 0
Display Prices with Tax
- Display product prices with tax included or without tax included. Can be set to true or false.
- Default: false

- Display product prices with tax included or without tax included in the Admin section. Can be set to true or false.

Basis of Product Tax
- On what basis is product tax calculated?
- Options are:
- Shipping - Based on customer's shipping address.
- Billing - Based on customer's billing address.
- Store - Based on store address if billing/shipping zone equals store zone.
- Default: Shipping
Basis of Shipping Tax
- On what basis is shipping tax calculated?
- Options are:
- Shipping - Based on customer's shipping address.
- Billing - Based on customer's billing address.
- Store - Based on store address if billing/shipping zone equals store zone.
- Default: Shipping
Sales Tax Display Status
- Always show sales tax, even when amount is 0. Can be set to 0 (off) or 1 (on).
- Default: 0
Store Status
- Status of the store.
- Options are:
- 0 - Normal Store
- 1 - Showcase no prices
- 2 - Showcase with prices
- Default: 0
Admin Session Time Out in Seconds
- Number of seconds that the Admin session will last without activity in the Admin before it expires.
- Default: 3600
Admin Set max_execution_time for processes
- Number of seconds the max_execution_time of processes should be.
- Default: 60
Show if version update available
- Automatically check to see if a new version of Zen Cart™ is available when entering Admin for the first time of each session. Can be set to true or false.
- Default: true
Server Uptime
- Display the server uptime on the Server Info page. Can be set to true or false. In limited cases, setting this to false may eliminate a timeout problem while drawing the server info page contents, however, the need is rare.
- Default: true
Missing Page Check
- Controls whether a page not found error is redirected to the index page, doesn't check for missing pages or shows a custom page not found error page. If such errors are redirected to the index page, the content of this page can be controlled independently of the normal index page using the Errors and Missing Products Page section of Admin - Configuration - Index Listing. Can be set to On, Off or Page Not Found.

cURL Proxy Status
- Does your host require that you use a proxy for cURL communication? Can be set to True or False.
- Default: False
cURL Proxy Address
- If you have GoDaddy hosting or other hosting services that require use of a proxy to talk to external sites via cURL, enter their proxy address here.

- ie: for GoDaddy, enter: proxy.shr.secureserver.net:3128
- Default: blank
NOTE: As of October 2008, GoDaddy no longer requires a proxy for normal HTTP and HTTPS traffic on ports 80 and 443.
HTML Editor
- HTML/Rich-Text editor used for composing admin-related emails, newsletters, and product descriptions. Can be set to NONE or HTMLAREA.
- Default: NONE
Enable phpBB linkage?
- Should Zen Cart™ synchronize new account information to your already-installed phpBB forum? Can be set to true or false.
- Default: Set during installation.
Show Category Counts - Admin
- When you are viewing the category list in Admin, you can either see the product count for the categories or not. Can be set to true or false. Having it off may dramatically reduce the time it takes for the page to load, depending on the number of categories you have.
- Default: true
