Contribution:Better Together

Better Together is an Order Total extension to Zen Cart which allows you to link products for the purpose of discounting when they a re purchased together; a discounted cross-sell. Specifying better together relationships between products is done by editing the source at this time (examples are provided); a GUI may be provided in the future.

The following pairings are possible:

• Buy this specific product, get another specific product at a discount.
• Buy this specific product, get another product from a specified category at a discount.
• Buy a product from this category, get a product from a specified category at a discount.

Native ZenCart allows you to create buy one, get one at a discount sales for a single product, but it does not allow mixing products; this is the justification for Better Together.
