This module allows one to keep track of individual stocks of a product variant. For example, if you have three sizes, large, medium and small, this module will allow you to keep track of all the different quantities. It will work with an unlimited amount of attributes so you could have green, small, cotton shirts. Stock_attribute v3.01 functions with Zen Cart v1.3, v1.3.0.1, and v1.3.0.2 (the now current Zen Cart version.) This module will not work in Zen Cart versions prior to v1.3. If you are running an earlier version of Zen Cart please use the products_with_attributes_stock module by dafonz. The original products_with_attributes_stock module was written and tested to work with Zen Cart v1.2.6.d and also functions with Zen Cart v1.2.7. While it may function with Zen Cart versions preceding 1.2.6.d, I cannot attest to that personally. |

This is an updated version of the Stock Attribute v3.01 module by by danielcor. The following features have been added: The admin is easier to use - it give you all the attributes at once, instead of one per page. You can define which, if any at all, attributes determine stock (for example, you can exclude gift wrapping). The normal stock count should be automatically updated when counts are updated in the admin and when checking out. The front end will perform an AJAX (or, rather, AJAHTML ;-) request when a customer is selecting attributes to tell them how many of that item are in stock at the time. |
