Banner Manager Controlled Sideboxes

This allows you to set up as many sideboxes as you want with a given banner group name, and as many banners as you want for each sidebox, displaying them one at a time. They can then be switched on/off via the Banner Manager in the normal way of controlling banners, making this an ideal enhancement for anyone who wants to regularly change content in sideboxes. A sidebox itself is set in Layout Boxes Controller, and once set, switching off the banner removes it from view on store front. There are options in admin configuration to enable/disable banner title as box heading on a per banner/box basis - perfect if all you want to show is an image. We've also included a really useful enhancement, especially for those who have many banners - the Banner Manager can now be sorted by groups which we believe is far more useful than the standard sort by banner name. It may be worth installing the plugin for this functionality alone! |
