helcim (https://www.helcim.com) offers interchange plus pricing, which to me is the most transparent type of pricing for clearing credit card transactions. the javascript method of creating their own iframe reduces PCI scope as your zen-cart install does NOT create a form that includes sensitive PCI data; and therefore that data never touches your website. customers can within that frame enter new credit card data OR chose from a card on file transaction that already exists at the helcim gateway. as a store owner, you can provide for card on file transactions without ever worrying about the sensitive card holder data. authorize and purchase transactions (authorize and capture) are both allowed and configurable. chose from utilizing a standard ZC methodology for capture, void and refund transactions; or utilize a robust table based methodology for handling all of those transactions. switch between the two at any time. this is the first payment module that I know of for zen-cart that is completely encapsulated utilizing the zc_plugins directory. there is no need for putting this file there and that file there; upload 1 directory to the zc_plugins folder, configure the module and you are ready to roll. module includes a test API token so that store owners with a development/staging environment can utilize that API token to process test transactions at will. there is NO need to create your own test credentials to test if this will work in your environment. supported by one of the most active contributors/supporters of the zen-cart platform. and someone who understands payment processing. |
