Here's a collection of several "sitemap" fixes found throughout the forum. They include: ability to display products as well as categories ability to display EZ-Page sidebox entries The tpl_site_map_default.php is structured the same way the information sidebox is setup It requires running an SQL patch just copy and paste to admin -_ tools -_ install sql patches and click send. rename the YOUR_TEMPLATE folder to match your custom template name. includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE Again I'm not responsible for the code I've just collected the information and put in one place. |

-------------------- Updated: 2/14/2009 PRO-Webs.net Update Details: Added an optional tpl_site_map_default.php to include proper nofollow link atributes on the following possible sitemap pages to prevent crawling and passing of PageRank in to these pages. Pages Nofollowed in Option: All account links, search, cart, checkout, privacy, conditions, shipping, checkout, contact, gift cert faq, coupon lookup & unsubscribe. To use this SEO option rename the SEO_tpl_site_map_default.php to tpl_site_map_default.php and upload as per the remaining install instructions. This is a simple thing, but since I used this mod and added the nofollows for our purpose, thought others might be interested as well. |
