Export invoice totals to .csv file for Excel use
I didn't write this, so I know that it works but not how. I now have an "orders history" item in my Reports menu - when I click that I see a list with date, customer name, tax, total (excl. tax), total (incl. tax) - there's an Export to Excel button below the list - that exports any data that's been added to the list since the last time I did an export - it prompts for a folder to save the .csv file to. You can then open it in Excel and use it for bookkeeping purposes. |

Export invoice totals to .csv file for Excel use - Version: 2 | |||||||||||||
This mod produces a screen report of orders and offers the option to export them to a csv file. Each line of the report is a clickable link that opens the corresponding invoice. There is no filtering for the listed display on screen but a new field is used in the orders table to mark whether the order has already been exported and so it does not get exported a second time. Its no competition to "Sales Order 2" if you want detail but as there is only one file doing all the processing it is very easily understood and customised by new coders to add more fields as required. |
