SnapShot
SnapShot does exactly that. It takes a snapshot of your Zen Cart system and creates a file containing your Zen Cart directory names, file names, timestamp, and permissions information. This is then used as a base line when you run SnapShot again at a later date. SnapShot will not stop hack attempts it is a tool that will allow you to scan and find any differences in you Zen Cart system after the fact. This is of course if you created the base reference file before a hack. A few screen shots in the zip file. |

SnapShot a Zen Cart Mod that keeps an eye on the files of your web site, and notifies you by email if any files are added, deleted or changed. There are two(2) ways you can implement SnapShot. For example, it can be run as a cron job, or from your Zen Cart admin. SnapShot has saved my clients several times, by helping to identify changed files after a security exploit on there sites.
