Fix for problems with some Shared SSL servers
For Zen cart 1.5.1. This modification is meant to make Zen cart work with a shared SSL server, even if the hosting provider does provide the HTTPS variables to your script and connects to your script with same port (typicall port 80) for an SSL as well as for a NON-SSL connection. The symptoms of this limitation of zen cart are notifications from your web browser because of non-secure page content on secure (https://) pages, caused by a non-secure base ref in the page header: "<base href="http://yourshop.com/" />" instead of supplying the secure address: "<base href="https://yoursharedssldomain.com/yourshop.com/" />" This modification is based on the assumption that your shared SSL address does not start with your own domain address. |
