Static RSS News Sidebox

Creates a sidebox which can display item titles and links from a valid RSS Feed. Works great with the News and Articles Manager. A major benefit of this sidebox compared to using an RSS scrollers sidebox is that the links are static and can be indexed by search engines for SEO purposes unlike links created using JavaScript. The add-on also uses a file cache and sessions for limiting the number of times the RSS Feed is parsed, thus reducing server time for both your store and the RSS Feed source. |
