GV Admin Edit

This is a Gift Voucher Admin Editor contribution! This will allow you to manage both Gift Voucher Credits (unredeemed funds) and Gift Voucher Certificates (gift codes). Please read the included readme file for full details. Will work as-is with versions 1.2.7 and 1.3.7 (specific version files included for 1.x.7, other versions should be an easy change). No database modifications required!! These modules were coded based on existing Zencart Admin modules and existing code was re-used and modified slightly as necessary whenever possible. A fair amount of testing on both 1.2.7 and 1.3.7 was completed, and these modules are now being used on a production system. Not everyone will want or need this add-on, but it would come in very handy for managing these if you are in a pinch. This might be especially useful if you might not be able (or know how) to modify the database on your own for such things. My wife found it very helpful. Requires a two line addition to a Dynamic HTML CORE file to add the two new drop-down menu items to the Admin "Gift Certificates/Coupons" menu list. # Gift Voucher / Gift Certificate Admin Editor ver 1.1 # This module is an extension of the built-in Zen-based Gift Certificates and Gift Vouchers, providing additional Admin features and visibility into both types of store credits. This module will allow you to manage both the built-in Zen Gift Credits (unredeemed funds per customer) and Gift Codes (Redemption Code based available funds). You can add or remove credit/funds from either GV/GC. You can now (in version 1.1) easily Insert a new Gift Certificate Redemption Code (Admin provided/defined) into the existing Gift Code database in order to provide a Gift Code to a customer or even a non-customer. A store owner could manually pre-print gift certificates with admin-defined redemption codes, enter them using this module, and use the codes for sale in a Brick & Mortar store. A person would not need to have an existing customer account (yet) to use the redemption codes online, and they could be given as a gift. Please read the included README file for full details. This module will work and has been tested as-is with versions 1.2.7 and 1.3.7, and now 1.3.8a (specific version files included for main Zen versions, other versions should be an easy change). Version 1.1 includes updates which will fix header-related issues in some instances. Anyone using version 1.0 is encouraged to upgrade. No database modifications required!! Easy installation for most. Comes in very handy for managing store credit if you are in a pinch.
