A Different Zen Template

A new sage template based upon the template_default fileset as the base. Designed for ZenCart versions 1.3.X. Simple to install, and close to ready to use. This is a simple clean template that should require very little to adapt to your site. It is styled in simple sage(green) and cream(beige) colors. There is also a button set to match included. It is designed for a full width display or fluid 100% width. Sage has a different look than any of the classic based templates, one that you might enjoy. This template will not be to everyones taste but is an earthy color scheme that can be used for many types of products. You might find it a good starting point for your store. This template consists of several files; the requisite css files, altered common files, 3 image files, a full button set, and the instructions. |

This version of the A Different Zen Template or "Sage" is a basic clean up and update for things that make it compatible with ZenCart 1.3.6. As provided, it is XHTML Transitional compliant. A new support thread has been started at http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52913. Unlike the first version of this template which was a bit rough owing to the fact that most would not use the actual backgrounds and such, this release is a bit more polished and with the addition of your logo could be used as is. It is also a fully fluid, "full" width template at all screen resolutions. The side boxes can be resized to your preferences. Even with this flexibility, this template is a lightweight template with only a few files & a full button set with no PHP changes required. A screen image is included within the ZIP as scr_template_sage.jpg. |
