When the mouse is over the sidebox, scrolling will stops and it restart on mouse out... The scrolling effect is viewable on Internet Explorer 6+ and Firefox 2+ browser and newer versions however the code is not already tested with other browsers like Opera or Safari. Featured by a friendly installation: copy only one file in your zen cart root! The code is based on "whats_new scroller for Zen-Cart v1.3 - sn0ut's code" and the Side Box Template of Zen Cart vers. 1.3.8/1.3.8a. ################################################################################################################################################################ ##############################____ /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// HOW TO INSTALL: 1) First of all, backup your following file, if it exists: "includes\templates\%your_template%\sideboxes\tpl_whats_new.php" 2) Login to your admin area then you need to change the maximum number of new products displayed in the "What's New" sidebox from: Admin -_ Configuration -_ Max Values -_ Random new products in the sidebox (Set this value to 5 as default). 3) Place this file "tpl_whats_new.php" in your sideboxes template overrides folder: "includes\templates\%your_template%\sideboxes" 4) It is not necessary but you can edit also configurable variables in "tpl_whats_new.php" file to modify how the scrolling effect looks and works... ################################################################################################################################################################ ##############################____ /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// |
