Upgrading to Zen Cart v1.3.8 probably won't make any difference, since the bug you're experiencing is in the SEO mod you've installed ... which apparently isn't compatible with MySQL 5.
However, you should still plan to do an upgrade sooner than later, as v1.3.7 and 1.3.8 have MANY fixes in them, several related to MySQL5 and PHP5. (and you mentioned elsewhere that you're using v1.3.6 presently.).

I am having a similar problem getting

using zen version 1.2 or i might have upgraded to 1.2.7 awhile back

rest of site appears to function
My web host recently did some server upgrades
and also suspecting a MySQL upgrade is the culprit
not using the SEO mod this thread refers to
and my only mod was the MultiGeoShippingZone mod installed last year
site has worked fine until a couple of weeks ago
but it is happening even before someone logs in as return user
so I don't suspect the mUltiGeo mod to be the problem
Any quick fix ideas before I have to fully upgrade and rebuild ?
