Manufactuer Dropdown List

I'm having issues getting my dropdown list to only display one option at a time.. Looked through the tpl and sidebox files but don't see where to edit it so there is only one manufactuer listed.... Any help would be great

no i want only one choice to show at a time and for it to "dropdown" not scroll through.. I'm fairly fluent with HTML but can't find where to change the code..

I am lazy ... instead of recoding it I would go to the Configuration ... Maximum Values ... and change the switch:

Manufacturers List - Scroll Box Size/Style
Number of manufacturers names to be displayed in the scroll box window. Setting this to 1 or 0 will display a dropdown list.

Don't feel dumb ... think of all the other folks you just helped learn something new ...

Granted I'd feel pretty dumb myself ... especially since I do that a lot and I sort of helped write all this code ...
