aligning product listing images to image bottom

HI,

I have searched the forum but cant really get a definitive answer. Currently I have a three column wide listing. This works very nicely, but because my images are not the same size I cannot align the image at the bottom of each row so the listings look uniform.

Is there a product that will allow for this. I also have IH2 installed and not sure if a recommended addon will interfere. I have over 1600 images and although most are the same size on either height or width, I just cant see having to create a 500x500 pixel background image and then center each of these images in order to have all images line up.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Bob

This is commonly asked with the column grid... and you suggest one answer to it in your post (same-sized images).

There is another way, and it might suit you, and that is to give the DIV for each product "cell" a defined HEIGHT in the stylesheet.

.centerBoxContentsProducts {
height: 350px;}

Naturally, the value of 350 in my example is variable. The way to judge what it should be is to find the product(s) with your LARGEST pic(s), and base it on that.

Thanks very much for the reply! Can you point me to the file that this code would be inserted? I have a gentleman who has been helping me with some code changes but he recently had a fire in the rental home he was living and is now out of commission until he can get settled in a new home. I can do this, but I just need a little help if you feel comfortable.
