Unusual Request from Client re: Search Terms,
I have an unusual request from a client that i have honor.
My client wants me to add an 3 words, which are search terms, to each product. (It seems unusual but it does kind of make sense if you knew the product line and cientelle ;-) )
there search words however, would not necessarily be shown on the product page, but they should bring up the product if entered into the website search box.
so am wondering where in the DB i would put these search terms, where the ZC Search Function would find them?
Should i create a new column in the products_description table?
or maybe i should put on the product page, in a div and set the CSS to display none?
can someone advise?, thank you!
Re: Unusual Request from Client re: Search Terms,
Would it be possible to put them in the meta tags for the products? I think I did something like that before and it worked.
Re: Unusual Request from Client re: Search Terms,
aw good idea, will try that, thanks
Re: Unusual Request from Client re: Search Terms,
i don't see any option to enter in meta-tags as per product, individually
Re: Unusual Request from Client re: Search Terms,
Go to the product listing in admin under a certain category and click the black and white icon at the far right.
Re: Unusual Request from Client re: Search Terms,
You're welcome, tcarden. Glad I could help. I'm pretty sure that's how I tweaked some of my searches in the past. Thanks for the additional followup, stevesh.
