text not contained in #navCatTabsWrapper
A new problem (with no changes by me) has popped up in IE8. The categories listing in #navCatTabsWrapper are not contained in the wrapper, they extend past it. I've fiddled extensively in the stylesheet with #navCatTabsWrapper and #navCatTabs and can't seem to hit upon the fix. I would really appreciate a nudge in the right direction. The problem can be seen at http://www.photoimprints.com. Thank you in advance.
Re: text not contained in #navCatTabsWrapper
Well I hacked a temporary fix, I think, by using this:
#navCatTabs {
word-wrap: break-word;
padding: 5px;
}
The problem with it is that it broke the words all right, right in the middle of some! So by adding the padding and massaging the names of some categories it seems to work, for now. But the minute I change any category names I'm going to have the same problem. So I'm still curious if anyone has any other ideas.
Thanks!
Re: text not contained in #navCatTabsWrapper
I didn't see the original problem, but try removing the red part:
#navMain ul li, #navSupp ul li, #navCatTabs ul li {
display: inline;
white-space: nowrap;
}
Re: text not contained in #navCatTabsWrapper
thank you, that did work better!
