admin creates order
Is there a way for admin to create an order and send it to a customer?
My site is configured for invoice to be an offer. When a customer finishes checkout, he gets an e-mail invoice. Invoice is just an offer and he doesn't have to accept it.
I have a lot of situations when some customer calls me on the phone and asks for an offer (some people are just to lazy to do it themselves). I do it via CWOA (Checkout Without Account) where I put products in the cart and fill in all customer details. This works great for non registered customers. But, I can't do it for registered customers because I get an error message "e-mail already exists". Is there a way to do it?

encrypted master password will do it just as well without messing with so many files. It's a standard load on all our sites.

Re: admin creates order
Too easy...
Next time I'll try to come up with a more difficult question...
Thank you both very much, both options are great! Just what I was looking for.
BTW, is it possible to edit an order? For example, a customer orders 5 different articles, but only 3 are available so I just remove those articles from their order and send them an updated order. My current idea is to change the status of (let's say) "order 228" to expired and create a new "order 229" using the above module(s). Can I do it as a status updated order so that the system sends a new email invoice but it has the same number as the order a customer made? I hope you understood me...

Re: admin creates order
There's a mod in the Add Ons that will work BUT last time I tried it it messed with the standard CC features. It's been updated since then, but caveat emptor.

Re: admin creates order
Currently my site will allow our customers to send gifts only within Bangladesh. So i want to add different charges for different districts within the country. Any idea how can i do it?
one more thing, i searched everywhere but couldn't find the option to let our customer fill up a delivery address form before checking out. Since its a gifts site, we want the customer to enter a delivery address.
thanks in advance

Re: admin creates order
You will not get much help when you "hijack" another post with an unrelated question.
You need to open a new post in the proper area.

Thanks man! You're my idol!
BTW, how do you know all this stuff and manage to remember it? I mean, WOW!
Thank you very much! My problems are solved. For now...

Re: admin creates order
I fought for years trying to find a cart that would fit my needs. I program in many languages and could have come up with something that worked for me, but I was constantly on the lookout for an all-encompassing cart.
I thought I might have found something with OSC, but soon learned it was going to stagnate.
My mentor in the early days of OSC was AJEH. She was willing to answer questions and pointed me in the right direction every time I had a problem. When OSC started having "issues", she moved to Zen Cart and I followed her here. Best decision I ever made.
I host PCI compliant for a select few and run several carts of my own. I'm not able to donate much to the Zen Cart team, but try to repay their efforts by helping others on the forum.
Running and hosting a total of 27 carts keeps me on my toes. Just reading the forum post in an area you're interested in will expand your knowledge. Like AJEH says, "Read a little. You might learn something!"
Hang in there.

Re: admin creates order
For several years? Program in several languages?
Can I please be your friend?! My first website was plain HTML from MS Frontpage a year ago. The second one was Zencart in october 2008. I never saw php before. So, considering that, I've done a great job...
By running 27 carts, you mean maintain it, right? Just out of curiosity, do you live on some other planet? Because, a day has only 24 hours... I mean, it takes me about 3 hours a day for running my site, so 27 sites times 3 hours... Jeeez... Now I admire you even more. Maybe, just maybe, someday I'll get to that level of experience. But will probably get hit by a truck the next day...
Oh well... Thank you very much for your help and hope to hear from you again.
