Changing main banner at the top
Hi guys,
First time using Zen cart after changing from oscommerce!
Cant seem to find a way to change the white area at the top of this template. I can change the image to the right (currently a tv) but I want to make an image cover the entire white area, so the entire banner.
w a t e r p r o o f t v s - d i r e c t. c o . u k
any help greatly appreciated.
Re: Changing main banner at the top
This is a Template Monster template. We really don't like trying to unravel these cumbersome templates. Please approach the people who sold you the template, for advice.

Yeah a few Google searches have led me to believe that this may not be the best place to purchase templates! Can you recommend anywhere else?
Customer purchased this template and is insisting upon using it, so if anybody can still offer any advice that would be great.
Re: Changing main banner at the top
If the customer insisted on this template then you have a tough road ahead...
These templates do have a visual "attractiveness" - and that is generally what sells them... but they are a real pain in the @$$ to manage and modify.
The main reason why you will not get a lot of help on the forum for TM templates is that a helper will usually have to spend a lot of time "analysing" the structure of the template before sound advice can be given. I certainly don't have a couple of hours to give away "free" (although I and many others have collectively given a lot of time to answering posts here).
TM are also not very good at offering support - so people who buy these templates are either:-
1. left on their own to fathom out how to modify them.
2. forced to buy in commercial help.
If your client is in a hurry and you feel your own level of skill with this template won't catch up in tandem with the client's schedule, then you must tell the client to expect to have to buy in extra help.
Free templates that follow the ZC schema better are at (sorry, site offline)

THe white area seems to be bg_cont.gif - you might look for that in the stylesheets or search for it in Admin - Tools - Developers Tool Kit.
