Different Product Listing styles displayed

Hi,
If I 'list all products' from the seachnavbar i get this-
spaced with lines between products
and from the the same bar 'featured products' display like this-
again nicely spaced with lines
However from the categories side box i get-
not so pretty

How do i get the list from the categories sidebox to have nicely spaced (preferably identical) lines in between like the other two.

Version 1.3.8 wth icatheme template.
My knowledge of code is v low so simple solutions would be appreciated, though can copy and paste between php files, or paste some code into Stylesheet.
