Im using the a wide banner on footer position 1, but my question is, is it possible to add the banner on a background image?
Something like this :

I need the image to be dead center behind the banner, and im not sure how to add it.
Any help is appreciated :blink:
Re: Banner on added background image?
Add to your stylesheet
Code:
#bannerSix a {
display: block;
width: 505px;
margin: auto;
background: #faa;
}
#bannerSix a img {
margin: 15px;
}
Adjust to taste. Change the #bannerSix to whichever one you want to affect.
Re: Banner on added background image?
That did absolutly nothing for me :cry:
Im not entirely sure what to change and if it matters where in the stylesheet you put it .
A lilī more help plz :unsure:
Re: Banner on added background image?
I applied it in your http://www.playtimeworld.com/ sub-site, and it put a background around the bottom banner.
That site has no rules for #bannerSix, so it didn't matter where I put it. Many people like to put custom rules at the bottom of the file for organization/reference.
Re: Banner on added background image?
Im sorry, but i simply cant get it to show.
I added the code at the bottom of the stylesheet the first time round, cos it sounded logic, which you comfirmed,. but nada, 0, zip.
See for yourself www.znowflake.com
Re: Banner on added background image?
I did say that you need to change the #bannerSix to whichever one you want to affect. The site you show is using #bannerFour, so that is how you need to put the selector name.
Giving a link to the actual site in question to start with would have made the advice correct the first time.
Re: Banner on added background image?
I apologize for the missing link, but i already tried all 6, just in case and the result was the same.
I have tried all 6, i have changed colour, width, etc, and nothing showes for me :cry:
Re: Banner on added background image?
Ok i got it now. Thats what happens when your not a coder. :oops:
Got rid of the "a" and it worked.
Thx a lot for the help :blush:
