Best solution for items with multiple attributes, free or paid?
I have a small store with some items which have many variables (T-shirts with attributes for colour, sizing etc).
I don't want to list each colour + size separately, I'd rather have a grid- or dropdown-style selection for the customer on the item's store page, which takes a feed from the item attributes as input in the admin panel.
I've seen a couple of addons that I believe could provide this functionality, but I've used neither. Please could I get some recommendations as to the best one to choose?
Cheers
Chris

Hi
Try 'Product Attribute Grid', I installed this and it seems to do the job although it doesn't work if you have 3 attributes for 1 product (ie colour size and length?)

Interesting, I'll have to investigate that. I seem to remember a paid module which had a really graceful interface, I thought it was developed by Ceon (who also do that excellent free SEF URL module which I use) but for love nor money I can't find any mention of a multiple attribute module anywhere on their site.
What's absolutely critical for me would be to have options made unavailable for selection depending on individual stock levels - can Product Attribute Grid handle that properly? (Stock by Attributes seems to ring a bell though)

Are there any issues to be aware of between the 'Product Attribute Grid' addon and the latest (v1.3.9d at time of writing) version of ZC?

Yeah - I installed it and whilst it initially appears to function, it doesn't correctly handle out of stock items. In a nutshell, the plugin's useless because it will happily allow the sale of an attributed product (e.g. a Medium Grey hoodie) which is out of stock in the database! I can't figure out what the problem is at all and it's caused me some real headaches recently.
