modules not showing in left or right column

zen cart version 1.3.9

I have uploaded the CSS_flyout_menu add on, that is great and works fine and loads up in the left column

I am adapting the silverfish template

The css flyout add on instructed me to load files in the following directories

/public_html/shop/includes/classes/categories_ul_generator.php

/public_html/shop/includes/modules/sideboxes/silverfish/categories_css.php

/public_html/shop/includes/templates/silverfish/css/stylesheet_categories_menu.css

/public_html/shop/includes/templates/silverfish/sideboxes/tpl_categories_css.php

That works fine but now no other modules will load in either the right or left columns.

I know the right and left columns are there (I have altered the CSS to display them as 500 px deep yellow divs)

I have checked the outputted files from the loaded pages and despite some modules being active in layout controller, they are simply left out of the generated pages

Any help appreciated.

I tried an old backup from saturday but the boxes still do not show

the site is at http://www.chapmancaptures.com/shop/

Try switching your template back to the Classic Contemporary Green and see if the boxes are still not showing.

I am getting to the bottom of this one.

Basically the sideboxes tell a friend and shopping cart do not appear.

This happens in all 3 templates, the Classic Green, Silverfish and my custom template.

If I login as a customer they still dont show.

The store has no products yet, but had categories set-up

The Tell A Friend won't show up until you have products for somebody to be able to "Tell" about.

The Shopping Cart won't show up until you actually have products in your cart.
