Export Users and Orders to Excel?

Hi all,

I am in the process of creating an online ordering solution for my running club. The Zen Cart part of the website itself will be used to sell yearly membership subscriptions and to sell tickets for upcoming races. I'm perfectly fine configuring the system to do this, but there is an additional step I need with the race subscriptions.

When a user orders a ticket for the race, I presume an email is sent to the person in charge of despatching the physical tickets and so on with the user's address and other details so that a ticket may be sent out.

As well as this I need a document [presumably an excel file would be easiest] which shows which users have bought tickets for any one event, their age and whether they're male or female. This is so that this can be passed to the people that run the timings for the race itself.

Does anybody know of a way that I can produce such a document using Zen Cart?

I am using a blank install of ZC 1.3.9h

I'm using an upgrade of version 1.3.9h from version 1.3.8. I added the Ultimate SEO URLs addon as well as the Facebook Like button to my website.

I'm having a similar issue trying to find the easiest (and free) way to export my customer database to an excel format. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am also looking for a way to export all the customer data into a .csv file.

Does anyone know of a mod for this?

Seems like this would be a very popular request and the smart guys would have created a mod to do it.

phpmyadmin gives option to export mysql table/s into csv file/s..but would use Open Office to process resulting file,
not excel.

can you use zen cart produce an excel docunment? I am not sure what did you mean?
