Paypal Express Configuration problems

Per Dr. Byte and others suggestions I switched from stand PayPal to PayPal express.

The installation went very smoothly and the payment also works fine. However, any changes I make to default configuration is not working.

For example, I set the "Express Checkout Shortcut Button" to No but it still shows up on the shopping cart. I see many of my customers click on PayPal button but since they don't see the total amount or shipment type they just abandon the site.

I like for my customers to go through checkout process and give them option to enter they discount coupon and select their shipment method prior to sending them to PayPal site.

So far I am losing money using PayPal express! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the button won't turn off using the Admin switch, you are probably using an old template or one that is not configured correctly. What version of Zen Cart? Your URL?

My URL is www.shinypetstore.com

Currently I am using Zent cart version 1.3.9h (upgraded from b to h about 3 months ago).

For template I am using Pure Orange Free. I have also installed Fast and Easy Checkout module. I turned it off to see if that's causing the problem but it did not make any difference.

As Kim said, you probably missed upgrading the /includes/modules/payment/paypal/tpl_ec_button.php file in your last upgrade.
