No shipping available to the selected country

Installed anew site with the latest Zen Cart. Can't get past step 1. Receiving message: No shipping available to the selected country (yes, I checked the numerous posts regarding this problem, but couldn't find an applicable answer.)

Only module I have installed is Zone Rates. I set up a customer with an address in California (CA) and tested (got above error).

Please advise ASAP.

Zone Rates zones is for Countries not States ... :eek:

Look in the Free Software Add Ons and search for:
zone table

One of those is setup to allow you to build specific Zone Defintions and add them to that shipping module to do what you are attempting ...

Thanks. I did that and it worked.

But I have to say, it was not obvious without searching through a lot of threads. On top of that, the zone definitions list includes the US and states.

Maybe this can be added to the FAQ for installation.

Zone Rates zones includes the United States (US) and Canada (CA) ... :smile:
