How to make an old product turn up under "new products" on the front page?
I'm just wondering if there is any way I can make an old product turn up under "new products" on the front page? I've tried to update the product-info and changed the date of the product, but it's still not showing up under "new products"...

You would need to access the database and adjust the date settings there for the product.

By "database" do you mean my "Admin" in the zen cart, or my cPanel/Filemanager? *newbie*

Yes, cpanel/phpmyadmin to go into the product tables, find the creation date of the product and change it.

Never having done this I cannot be sure - but that may affect pre-existing orders of customers who have already purchased that product (having purchased a product on a date before the date on which it was created).
The simplest solution is to make a note of all of the product details, delete the product and then add it again as a new product.
