Flyout Menu highlight current category

Can someone help me highlight current category (make it bold, like Classic Menu) in the Flyout Menu? Thanks.

It's highlighted in Classic Menu but not in Flyout Menu. I intentionally leave both categories box there so that you can see the difference.

I tried to add following clause to 'categories_ul_generator.php' but didn't work out:

Could you tell me how to make current category bold in the Flyout Menu, same as that in Classic Menu?

I don't know if the flyout menu code has structure to allow current path highlighting (apparently not), but I do know that Categories Dressing has that ability, and can be turned into a flyout menu with the ch_categories option and a few CSS rules added, as has been discussed in the mod's support thread (search the thread for flyout).

The ideal situation would be a kind of combination of flyout menu and classic menu.
Show (and highlight) subcategories under category when selected (user can turn off via admin if prefer not to show subcategories), and show flyout menu when mouse over.
That will be very user friendly.

The last point I definitely need your help is to make it show subcategories under currently selected category, same as Classic Menu does. In that way, users will have a better idea of their current place. (Probably looks better also.)
