Re: German Language Pack for ZC version 1.5.x
I have this option installed on version 1.5.1.
It works great - only one bug! I have the addon "Stock by Attributes 5.0 Beta (for v1.5.0)" installed. In the English version this shows up as the last option in the Webshop drop down list but it does not show up at all in the German Webshop drop down list.
I would appreciate your help, I enclose a screenshot of files that mention Stock by Attributes.
Re: German Language Pack for ZC version 1.5.x
BTW, as it is easy to change the language in the Admin console using the drop down list I would rate this bug as a "nice to have".

Glad you like this mod.
But the 'bug' you mentioned is not really specific to this (or any other) language pack.
My guess is that "Stock by Attributes 5.0 Beta (for v1.5.0)" contains some file(s) which are language dependent.
You may want to consult the support thread for Kuroi's contribution to get a clue how to handle languages other than English.
Please let us know what you discover.
PS: ich hoffe das Wetter in der Schweiz ist angenehm

Re: German Language Pack for ZC version 1.5.x
I have just downloaded the "Stock by Attributes" plugin and had a peek:
look in
admin/includes/languages/english/
admin/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/
and you should find the files
products_with_attributes.php
products_with_attributes_stock.php
just translate the defines and upload the 2 files to the corresponding 'german' folders

Re: German Language Pack for ZC version 1.5.x
Time for another dumb question
I just noticed that the "email_checkout" emails in German language are always in text whereas the English language emails are in HTML (when the user registers HTML in their account).
When I switch my registration from text to HTML & back the English emails follow but the German ones are always in text. :dontgetit
I do not see anything in your add-on that could cause this but here seems to be a good place to start asking?
I suppose I could have configured something wrong somewhere?
I do not know if it helps but after I noticed this I also noticed the "email_checkout" emails do not have an email greeting (I mean "dear" or "sehr geheerte") I added the greeting in the email template and in "includes/classes/order.php". The greeting now works in the English language but not in German.
Appreciate anybody who has a tip where I could look next?

Don't think it is related to the language files - I will have a look at this over the weekend (on the road atm).

Thanks, I also don't think it is related to the language files.
If you want to look at my site please use www.simmar.ch/catalog & also use the invoice option (not paypal) for orders; then the orders are easy to delete. :smartalec:
Have fun on the road :D
