Stamps.com, email import, Ty tracker
Got the Stamps.com interface loaded and running nicely. I've got a couple of questions now.
- The order/customer info transfer doesn't seem to include the email address for Stamps.com to send the shipping email.
- Is there a way to have the tracking information handed off to Ty Package Tracker to make it clickable
- The scan form generation is s-l-o-w. If there a trick to speeding this up?
Thanks in advance.

The email address does import. How do we verify the email confirmation has been sent via Stamps.com?

I can't give you the exact string of clicks since we have moved from Stamps.com to a different shipping provider, but
- within the Stamps.com interface there is a toggle to also send a copy of the email confirmation to the email address you have registered with Stamps.com.
- Within that same area is a screen to somewhat customize the email confirmation text.

Thanks for the note. After digging around I found it. Any ideas as to why the stamps interface works flawlessly sometimes and won't pick up orders at other times?

Not really. If you're referring to how the "refresh" button works, it does not 'refresh' instantly. It just sets the queue for refreshing but that doesn't mean Right Now.
We switched to ShipStation almost a year ago because of Stamps.com issues. More and better filtering/applying shipping rules. Access to both Endicia and Express1 for USPS. Better integration with Fedex/UPS accounts. Yes, there is a learning curve and their online help files are pretty good. The only downside is that there is no immediate, telephone support but online support is pretty timely. "Refresh" or "Update" is "go get updates RightNow".
Re: Stamps.com, email import, Ty tracker
After a couple of weeks of using Stamps.com things seem to working out for the better. Granted the batch processing only gets orders every hour or two but the orders that come in during that time can be processed simply by putting in the order number on the packages screen and it gets the order right away. Overall we are pleased with the Zen Cart integration that is available with Stamps.com. And since we are a gold shipper the monthly fee is waived and it wouldn't make sense to pay for another service that didn't offer this type of arrangement. Thanks for the help.
