Proof for digital delivery of the downloadable product

Few BANKS are NOT allowing the Payment gateway for Digital Downloadable products due to the LACK OF DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS.

ZEN CART has does wonderful job of managing the downloadable products by explicitely mentioning the DOWNLOAD FORMAT on the Product page, check out page, sending email to the client and finally allowing the downloadable links in the user's account.

Is it possible to record the Download HISTORY of the DOWNLOAD by recording the date, time, IP address etc ?

This will help the developers a great deal.
