Reward Points + Edit Orders + Admin New Order

I have a few issues when integrating the Reward Points Full Suite and Edit Orders that I'm hoping to get some solutions for.

My install details:
ZC v. 1.5.1
PHP Version: 5.2.17 (Zend: 2.2.0)

Other Add Ons:
Edit Orders
Admin New Order
Admin New Customer
Sales Report

Issue 1: Request

I would like to display the customer's Reward Points to Date on the Edit Orders page when creating a new order via Admin New Order. What would be even more great, is to have the same box below, that shows during the check out process, to show in edit-orders.php when a new order is created and the customer has enough points to redeem:

Issue 2: Problem

When I create a new order and add products, then, using the drop down box to modify the order to redeem points, the order totals do not change at all.

Because we use ZC, in most part, as a POS script, it is very important for us to have this working with EO/ANO .

Any solutions you have would be most appreciated. Alternatively, if you think there is a different add-on that might work better for what we need, we would also love to hear about it.

@gigi3, thanks for providing that additional information. I've downloaded the Reward Point Full Suite 2.5e to take a look at the plugin's file structure.

Unfortunately, the plugin is too complicated for me to determine what's going on without spending a fair amount time (which I don't currently have) to understand its processing. I'm hoping that, by splitting this post out, you'll find some other Zen Cart store-owners who have successfully used Reward Points with Edit Orders.

As a possible workaround, instead of using ANO, can you use one of the master password mods, login as the customer (to the catalog), and run the order that way?

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, that isn't an option for us. We run a membership shop and we serve 100+ clients daily. We have 5 cashiers and have set their permissions appropriately. We can't give them access in that way. We need to keep things as simple as possible for them.

I am REALLY hoping I can get this working, but it seems I'm finding more and more things that aren't working. My instinct says it's because of ANO.

1. Even though I have points set to go straight to earned, they are being set to pending and won't get moved until we change the status of each order. We use our order status a little differently than most because the majority of our orders are done in store. In Store is our default status while online orders are processed as 'Mail Order'. The only time we change order status, for the most part, is if it is a return, exchange, or lost in mail.

2. While orders processed online, when accessed via edit orders, show the earned points as a basic numeric value on the receipt, when an order is started with ANO and points are added via edit orders, the earned points are shown in currency format. I have made sure the new code addressing this issue is in place, and it works with external orders placed, but not with edit order.

3. Points redeemed against an order are not affecting order totals in edit order.

Any help is appreciated, but I'm thinking this may just not be the plug in for us. :(

I just looked and it doesn't seem like there are any options for us other than this plug in. I'm happy to pay to have someone get this working for us. Is there a place on the forum where we can post work like that?
