Is this information supposed to appear on the invoice somewhere?
I assume the correct answer is probably "YES"
Next question:
Where to start looking for "WHY" it is not appearing.

Answered my own question.
The text appears on the order confirmation email but not on the invoice.
Used Email Archive Manager to look at the email transmitted to customer.
