Posting items to facebook

Hello,

I'm needing to know where to edit the code that generates the listing to post items to FaceBook.

1. The listing that generated by ZC displays the wrong item image. (seems to be a common issue from what I have read)
I need to know how and where to edit this incorrect image issue.

2. I need to edit what wording is generated and displayed by ZC for the FB listing.
I want to keep the wording for the item short and simple.

What addon are you using to generate the Facebook listing?
Is there a support thread for that addon?

I didn't add anything on unless it's part of the template. That I'm not sure of.

Yup, I've run into this. Can't remember the responses. Thread might show up if you search. My take away was it doesn't work right. You're easiest way is to fix it manually on FB: insert photo and verbiage manually, then add hyperlink to your website (remove any thumbnails that populate automatically).

First, no version of Zen Cart does anything to "post items to Facebook". To be clear: if you want to post things to facebook, you have to do that yourself.

Chances are you're actually trying to say that you don't like that when you post a link in a Facebook page that FACEBOOK when IT goes to your site to read the page and suck in an image and description, FACEBOOK is grabbing the wrong content.
Isn't that a more accurate way to say what your presenting-problem is?

There are several ways to address something like this.
The best one I know is to add the modified Super Data plugin called Structured Data For Zen Cart: https://github.com/torvista/Structur...a-for-Zen-Cart
After you install that, and configure it in your store Admin by telling it your Facebook business page App ID, and your other social media IDs, it will then put extra markup in the headers of the pages so that when Facebook comes to the site it will pick up special content based on which page is being visited.

You need to add the og:image meta property, as discussed at https://developers.facebook.com/docs...masters#images

The Structured Data plugin I mentioned does a lot of work under-the-hood to select the correct picture.
