Image #2 Could not be loaded....
When I use _MED, _LRG image files things work for my site, I stopped using Medium, Large image files and don't upload these files to their correponding directories, I like to use the regular image format, where they get upload only to the images directory, take a look at the following link
http://www.aydincoins.com/buy-silver...anadian-maples
I get an error 'Image #2 Could not be loaded' for some reason the system tries to load _LRG image file which does not exists.
I think the way it's supposed to work is that if there is a _LRG file then it's loaded if NOT then the file gets loaded from the images directory.
Could anyone tell me which line of code that needs to be changed but I still have the _LRG, _MED image files so like to keep using them, it's just that going forward I don't want to use this format so the code has to work both ways.
Thanx,
Re: Image #2 Could not be loaded....
Would help to know what version of ZC is considered installed and what plugin(s) have been added that might relate to images? There is definitely an issue of filename "posting" and integration with whatever image popup utility is currently used. There is a version of the second image that is presented, but when clicking on the additional images link, the image tool is searching for the filename provided which is the one on this store that includes _LRG regardless of the presence of the file with that name.
The issue is located mostly in the handling of additional images it looks like. This involves a couple of template files and a module as memory serves with some information possibly having been changed in an applicable pages directory (includes/modules/pages/YOUR_PAGE).
Re: Image #2 Could not be loaded....
Location identified as problematic for this site was in the includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE/additional_images.php file where a "modified" version of an image handler had been installed to set the flag $flag_has_large to true regardless of the existence of the applicable file. This is where the non-existent file wasn't working... Modified the response back to the routine operation of displaying the large image name/location if it exists otherwise just use the additional image's location.

Re: Image #2 Could not be loaded....
Still trying to get 1.5.4 live on Linux upgrade from 1.5.1 and this may be linked to my problem of the product image not showing up on the product info page on some pages in both mytemplate and classic. Thumnails show and Large images show in Lightbox just fine. IH installed. I looked at the includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE/additional_images.php but can't see why this is only happening on some product pages... the most recent updated product images. Tried recreating and reuploading the image through IH as well as from my harddrive with no-show only on some product pages. Cleared browser catch routinely. Looked at directory they were uploaded to. Manually renamed a duplicate placed in the MED folder to show _MED... still nothing shows on the product page for that particular item. This affects several products. Is there a setting I'm missing? Is there some code I can paste here that might help diagnos?
Re: Image #2 Could not be loaded....
Some things that can cause a problem with an image:
Really high resolution.
Filename containing spaces.
Extension of filename being in capital letters instead of lower case...
Re: Image #2 Could not be loaded....
Thanks for a quick reply.
It is only the medium image not showing. The thumb version as well as lightbox large are fine even though they all point to just one image for all three.
medium for the same product shows up fine for the 1.5.1 zencart.
I will try and uninstall IH and see if that makes a difference. I could never get IH to work in our 1.5.1 install so it was just a perk we don't really need but did seem to install beautifully in the 1.5.4 test site and I can see all three images there, just not on the Product Info page. I'll also look at the caps thing again.
