Tutorial/how-to for latest version of Paypal Express Checkout

I have been reading tutorials and how-to's around regarding the setup of Paypal Express Checkout on Zen Cart.

Now in 2019 june it seems as if the menus in Paypal have been changed and updated (comparing to when the tutorials have been written). Therefore it is hard to follow the tutorials that I have seen out there, because so much has changed. Is there any updated ones out there that is up to date or could someone please write one?

All the changes I have seen have been with the paypal side of paypal and getting into the part of actually accessing the settings that make it possible to interface with anything.

Meaning, it's not just Zen Cart integration, it's PayPal. I mean even their own "latest" instructions don't seem to guide to the correct location(s).

You know though that by explaining what portion of the process is not understood, what is seen and what would be desired to be different, those questions and answers lead to a "tutorial" of some type and can be far more meaningful.

I tried primarily following this tutorial here:

It would be nice if all tutorials around displayed a date for when it was written, then it would be easier to determine how out of date it is, prior to starting following it.

I struggle with the steps following (in the above linked tutorial):
Step 3: Setup API Access
...
4. Beside the "API Access" option, click the "Update" link/button
...

The reason I struggle is that I don't find this option.

In Paypal I have in the API Access section the following options:


- Pre-built payment solution

- Braintree SDK integration

- NVP/SOAP API integration (Classic)

- Manage PayPal checkout settings


Under "Manage Paypal checkout settings" I have the choices:

- Accept PayPal payments before API permissions or credentials are set up
(You can complete API setup later)

- Block payments from uncredentialed shopping carts
(blocks payments from online stores or shopping carts until you set up API permissions)

You can get your API keys inside the "NVP/SOAP API integration (Classic)" section.
