Currency discrepancy
Zen Cart 1.5.6c PHP Version: 7.3.33 (Zend: 3.3.33)
Store is set to USA Dollars. We are a multi-national digital store. (no shipping).
Recently we have had a customer from Canada and another Customer from Australia, both these countries use the own Dollar. Paypal had totalled the amount incorrectly, we thought it may have converted to their local currency, but that was not the case as there was a big discrepancy, not sure why?
Normally Paypal will total in US Dollars, matching the store total for all other currencies countries inc European countries, and UK etc.
but for some reason it does not translate well for Canadian or Australian Dollars, it seems to confuse it. Is there a setting in Zencart to correct it?
ie
Order 1 Canada Customer, store $13.31 Us Dollars, Paypal $10.00, Canada Exchange rate; $17.09
Order 2 Canada Customer, store $18.83 US Dollars, Paypal $14.00, Canada Exchange rate $24.18
Order 3 Canada Customer, store $9.31 US Dollars, Paypal $7.00, Canada Exchange Rate $11.46
Order 4 Australia Customer, Store $9.96 US Dollars, Paypal $7.00, Australia Exchange Rate $14.09
I hope that makes sense.

Re: Currency discrepancy
Which variant of PayPal? Noting that for PayPal Express Checkout, there's a setting (Transaction Currency) that should be set to USD Only for the use-case you've presented.
