Cannot edit custom template - missing template??
Hello,
I have Yourstore theme installed and it has worked fine for several years until recently. The live/customer side of things still works and looks ok, but when I click in admin tools>template settings it takes me back to the admin home page instead of into settings.
I have tried for the past month to contact the creator for a price or way to rectify this but has bounced back emails, no update on social media etc. I have recently moved so desp need to get into settings to update my postal address as well as other things.
When I hover over the templates settings it shows the following web address at the bottom left of the page -
[my renamed admin folder name]/index.php?cmd=pzen_template
I have original files but paid the developer to install it before so no idea which file is missing and where I should put it on server/
Any help or advice appreciated.

I have asked those folks to connect with you; hopefully it will work.

Hi,
Have you heard anything back from them as I've not received anything.
In the meantime can anyone else help with this as I desp need to get my website postal address and other info updated and changed so need to be able to access the template. I have the original files but no idea what file needs to be replaced and where.
Re: Cannot edit custom template - missing template??
Can you check under your admin directory if the file pzen_template.php is present?
Also right after you click on the templates settings link, check if there are any error logs generated under the /logs directory, and if yes, please post their content here (remove your admin folder name and other sensitive information in them)
Re: Cannot edit custom template - missing template??
Keep in mind you can always update the data from phpMyAdmin so if it's super-urgent, just go to cPanel->phpMyAdmin, navigate to your database and find pzen_template table where you can manually edit your details.
You didn't mention your Zen Cart version and php version - this might be helpful info for us to try and recreate the issue.

Sorted! *Phew*
I checked a backup file and found several pzen files in the admin folder there that were missing in this new admin folder - I copied across the pzen_template.php file and its all working again.
Thank you for tellling me where the pzen_template file should have been as I did not know it was under my renamed admin one until you guys mentioned it.
