logo.gif in header not showing alt tag

zen cart 158 fresh install
no mods
php 8.0

Problem with Storefront Header logo.gif not showing Title and Alt tags correctly in the header.
The lang.header.php file shows 'HEADER_ALT_TEXT' => 'Powered by Zen Cart :: The Art of E-Commerce',
Upon clicking inspect with Web developer it shows this:

Notice the alt="" is blank above and it is placing the HEADER_ALT_TEXT in the title attribute.

Yes, using classic template selection under Tools in the admin panel.

Went to the administration panel and inspected with web developer the Admin Header and it correctly shows the title and alt tag

Looking for a way to fix this problem for myself and zen cart followers!

Known issue (https://github.com/zencart/zencart/issues/5494), under investigation for the "right" solution.
