Out of stock items: can customers request to be put on a waiting list?

I'm considering ZC for my next store implementation. So far, so good!

Is there a built-in or a plug-in that adds "put me on the waiting list" functionality to out of stock items?

There's the Back in Stock Notifications plugin - not exactly a waiting list, but the closest thing we got to it.
