Help with brain fart

This might sound ridiculous.
But after a long hiatus with zencart I forgot how to install it.
I have done this before, even on linode and on my local computer.
It seems that I have a serious brain fart since I cannot find in the docs a tutorial on how to do this.
I downloaded latest version and I kind of remember that i have to uncompress into the html folder.
Can somebody help further, be kind with older persons you will get there too.

Somewhat solved, typed localhost in address bar and it took me to the greeting page " it works", so now I know what is the web root, still have a lot to go to remember everything
