Oversold by 9 quantity

Ok, at present I seem to have an issue with automated bots alerting folk to restocks of pokemon items. When this happens I can have multiple people attempting to checkout for the same item. The latest saga was a paldean fates charizard tin, I had listed these and within 2 minutes 14 people where completing or starting checkout.

Sounds great, however the issue then is that multiple people have reached the checkpoint of ensuring stock is available and it has allowed all 14 through to the payment stage. Seems my site is then accepting the order after payment is confirmed regardless of stock a few moments later.

Is there a module that can perhaps overcome this issue and prevent items like the charizard tin becoming -9 qty from a few customers paying at the same time?

I am awaiting completion of an upgrade to 2.1 so this may have been resolved by that version?

Do you allow negativ stock at admin -> stock?

Sadly no, it is set to check quantity before allowing checkout. However that check does not make note of how many folk just passed the check and how many quantity they required creating the scenario where this happens sadly

I think I need some way of a customers basket temporarily effecting the quantity of items available for others, a timed basket where they have a certain amount of time before the items are released back to live quantities, anyone know of such module that is 1.58 or 2.1 ready?

Qr tickets has an addition in orders.php I believe. Also interacts with the checkout flow to generate a ticket during checkout completion and a qr powered social club module works in a similar fashion but without the "physical ticket" option that the ticket module provides. That appears as a checkbox in checkout if its a ticket based on a check of the database to see if the product has event fields with data present for items in the basket.
