I have tried multiple combinations to no avail. If I have at least five customers that need this to work, it must be valuable to others in the ZC community.

Even without Wholesale pricing, quantity discount does not work with attributes. It only applies on base price.
There is an option too in Quantity discount to apply to special prices, but this one only apply to the first discount range which makes you selling at lower price/item for quantity of one than the next quantity discount you set...
Offering wholesale pricing is something I have had pending for literally years, so have not investigated in detail yet.
I have many products priced by attribute, so that would be absolutely essential.

Thanks I needed it... Actually, I had to go back and forth between manual and setting page to get a working solution.
Although I still think the quantity discount is not a practical working functionnality. When setting it in Products Price Manager, it does not affect attributes prices, you have to set it although in Attributes Controller and for each option! Not to mention the misleading naming Quantity Price Discount in Attribute Controller which in fact is not a discount but just a plain price that will add to the option base price...
How do you manage that when you have 10 options or more? I really would not like to sell clothes with tones of sizes and color variations...
Just to say I am not suprised that Wholesale pricing has trouble with this and I think something should be done in this area before going to wholaesale problem.
Again, you are getting close, but you don’t have to put QD in all options.
If you’re selling shirts and there is no difference in the price of colors, you could use QD only for the size option.
In the site I mentioned, QD and wholesale only apply to whether the customer wants a Suncatchers or Night Light. All other options are not affected.
And, everyone seems to be missing the underlying fact that QD is not working correctly either.
A wholesale price can be applied to
- A product's base price (via the product-specific edit)
- A product's overall quantity-discounts (via the admin's Products Price Manager)
- A product-attribute's base price (via the admin's Attributes Controller)
A wholesale price cannot be applied to
- A product-attribute's quantity price discount
Since the problem seems to be that both are tied to one price listing, is it not worth it to try to add a wholesale base price to the attribute? The QD price would be empty and the wholesale base price propagated by the settings of the QD?
I'm not a programmer but I can see where this feature could solve problems with five of my cusomers and who knows how many others out there.
Thanks to @lat9 for that summary a couple of posts back; I have added this content to the Wholesale Pricing help page.
