Input Name Add Character Length

For Manufacturers name, I'd like to make this much longer, say 100+.

I don't fins any specifics in the forum searches I've done.

What exactly needs to done regarding the database... varchar or blob, or whatever.

I think this is the main issue for me. phpMyAdmin is my utility -

a little experimentation and voila! - VARCHAR/150 did the trick
