Where has the extra $ come from

Select Mixed Bag and scoll down a bit

Admin product setup,
I put the price into the net box, as there is no tax the same figure appears in the gross box, all ok so far.

When I preview the price comes up with a trailing $ sign

Any ideas where the trailing $ comes from
