i want to use the categories_select side box module but would like to know how to add the new products, all products, featured products and specials, ect links like on the standard catagories list?
also i want to be able to switch the subcatagories off?
can anyone help PLEASE?

If you look in the original sidebox for the categories you can see the code for adding these links:

On the original Categories sidebox there is a setting in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ...
You will need to see if that works with the sidebox that you are using ...Quote:
Categories - Always Open to Show SubCategories
Always Show Categories and SubCategories
0= off, just show Top Categories
1= on, Always show Categories and SubCategories when selected
Yeah ive tried this and it dosnt seem to have any effect :(
