Problem with FedEx Ground Module Weight Limit?

Hi,

I have the fedex shipping module installed. And it appeared to be working fine for months. But I am having a problem with the fedex ground module.

Sometimes the Ground option is not shown in the "estimate shipping" window. I think it has something to do with the weight of the order, but I am not certain.

If for example, I add one item to the cart (weighing 10lbs), everything works fine. Express options and ground options are shown. If I increase the quantity of the same item in the cart to 8 items, the FedEx ground option is no longer displayed. The FedEx express options continue to work however.

I have tried increasing the package tare weight to 500lbs as a test, but that did not help.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

I have no idea how to fix it....

you need to set your max box weight to 75 Lbs,
dont set the tare weight to 500 Lbs, that just makes the weight START at 500 Lbs

Where exactly do you set the "max box weight"?

I can't find it in the shipping modules admin or the admin's product page. Do I need to edit the .php files?

in the admin -> configuration -> shipping

Fedex ground goes up to 150 lb. Changing "the maximum weight you will ship" to 75 lb still did not show the Fedex Ground option for a 132 lb package. I know I missing something.
